Positive: This accommodation is amazing. So close to the sea, and the Pool is great option. Cleaning and fresh towels every day. View from balcony is to the sea and mountains, really relaxing

Positive: The swimming pool was pleasant and well maintained, although the pool chemicals permanently discolored our swimwear and turned the transparent plastic windows of my child’s toy cars cloudy. The hotel is within a short walking distance of the beach, which is very convenient. We also had an excellent dinner at the nearby Perimetro Liquido restaurant – the food was one of the highlights of our stay.
Negative: The receptionist who welcomed us was not friendly or welcoming. There is no elevator, so carrying luggage up to the third floor is difficult. Our room constantly smelled of sewage. The staff tried to solve the issue by pouring chlorine into the shower drain, but this only added a strong chlorine smell while the sewage odor remained. I eventually discovered that the smell was coming from the floor drain, which had been covered by a trash bin. The air conditioner only cooled at what seemed to be around 23°C regardless of the temperature setting. Turning it off made the sewage smell immediately noticeable again. The shower cabin is extremely small (approximately 70 × 70 cm), making it uncomfortable for an average-sized adult to shower. The sofa bed was dirty and covered with old stains (see attached photo), making it unpleasant to use. The room overlooked what is described as a campsite, but it looked more like a run-down settlement. Although this is not entirely the hotel’s fault, Deiva Marina itself left a disappointing impression. The streets were dirty and smelled of urine, there was litter in many places, rusty promenade structures, broken paving, construction sites, and an overall neglected atmosphere. It felt like a town that has not been properly maintained for years.

Positive: Location is very close to the beach and restaurants and the train station. Breakfast was pretty good, with salty and sweet options and fruits. Personnel was nice Swimming pool looked nice.
Negative: Room on the third floor without lift, that's a no no, even for young people (the steps are higher than average).. The room was quite small, and especially the shower, not only small, but on top of that the head could not be detached. The swimming pool had very limited opening hours (mornings starting at 10:30, evenings until 20h ... so we didn't get to use it even once :( ... It would have been nice to get a bath in the swimming pool after a day hiking in the Cinque Terre under the sun)
