Positive: The place is on the top of the mountains. The view is breathtaking! Trully! The photos aint showing anything here. Go check in google streetview, thats a bit better, but still, you gotta be there to see it. You wake up and this magnificent mountain is right front of you! Its... just... amazing! The road that leads you to the hotel, literally, every time it was pure joy to drive through it. The breakfast is mainly made from local ingredients, it was really special, although not a huge variety. Being the guest of the hotel grants you a discount for the cable car nearby and for the bath down in the valley, but to be honest its still very expensive, so we skiped that instead, there are many cable cars in the region, and some better worth it.

Negative: The place was clean, but I found a dead spider in the corner (a nice and big one :) . As an experiment I left it there to see if the room service will take care of it... And it didnt. It left there for the whole stay. But its nitpicking I know. I asked the lady, if she could make me scrambled eggs for breakfast after she said she is keen to help, and just let her know if I need anything (before breakfast), cause "she has a lot of time... ", and then she said no, right to my face. She wasnt rude! She just wasnt nice either. It would have been a nice touch, but anyways. The restaurant is a fancy one at the hotel for sure. We wanted to try it, but the prices scared us away... Way beyond the normal and acceptable price range... But well, we can say, the food in Switzerland is very expensive everywhere, except in the supermarkets. So prepare for 35-45 EUR meals if you wanna dine in any kindof restaurant! The rest of the travel is more or less affordable, I'd say.

Positive: The staff at this hotel are very attentive. They are some of the hardest working people I’ve seen. We had a wonderful time there. Great location for hiking! Thanks for making our stay wonderful.
