Positive: Amazing hotel, very friendly and pleasant staff. Couldn't do enough for us. Always smiling and chatting to us. They greeted us every morning with a big smile, and inviting us to a lovely, delicious and varied breakfast: very high-quality food and excellent coffee. Breakfast is highly recommended. Big, very clean and modern rooms. The whole hotel is very nice, modern and clean. The road up to the hotel is slightly steep, but there is hardly any traffic, so it is manageable. Very good value for money. Nice small heated swimming pool. Amazing view from the hotel. We arrived at 11:00 pm after the restaurant had closed, but the lovely manager insisted on cooking us some seafood pasta as we were very hungry. It was absolutely delicious. Very clean facilities, bathroom. Very hard-working housekeeping team. Overall, highly recommended and would definitely come back.

Positive: The hotel was absolutely amazing, relaxing, and refreshing.

Negative: When we arrived, we struggled with the narrow and treacherous roads. Upon arrival, we made a comment about this to the receptionist, and it went downhill from there, she gave us this funny look, handed our keys and left us with no introduction or explanation, so we tried to figure things out ourselves. The next morning, at breakfast we observed the eggs were not well done and we politely asked if we could have our eggs well-done, the "chef" said it was not on demand and if we wanted well-done eggs we can have boiled eggs. So we settled for boiled eggs. She was so hostile that the children were too scared to go the dining to get their food. On the 3rd day, we met the manager who apologised profusely and made the necessary adjustments.

Positive: The property is nice with a stunning view and a gorgeous pool. The staff is friendly. Clean room, A/C nice. You'd really want to like this place...

Negative: .. however, it has downsides that make it difficult to enjoy it all the time. Looking for serenity up the hill? Forget it, it's NOISY due to being crowded by children (nothing is quite as unrelaxing as witnessing one doing something poolside that should be done in a toilet), and they play music rather loud until midnight or even later. Our room was right next to the kitchen/bar so probably suffered from this the most. Private terrace meant sunbeds outside the door which other guests didn't mind using. Room is tiny but manageable, however shower misses a door/wall so your entire bathroom is flooded after showering. Rituals products in pictures but in reality some cheap brand. Food really mediocre (kind of fine in a pool bar but don't think of having dinner here). Location far up the hill which obviously creates the view but otherwise taxi/car is a must (use Terrae or Munja). Overall if you're a couple looking for a boutique experience in a serene location, it's a miss. For a family with children, probably spot on. I'm reviewing as the first mentioned. Sorry for not being able to give a better review, but I would have appreciated a review like this before booking.
