Positive: Really amazing place! The photos showing the terrace tables overlooking the Tara springs stream are not misleading, except it is much better in real life when you can see and hear the stream close up. Staff (Max and Stefan?) were really friendly and helpful, with good advice on local walks and activities, we went swimming in beautiful Tara River and walked straight from the hotel.

Positive: The hotel was great. The room was pretty spacious, the views were great and you had a lot of space to sit outside, read something or play a board game. The river is coming down close to the breakfast area, so it's a great view. Also we were able to walk around a bit in nature in the surrounding area and it was beautiful. The mountains are a great view from the hotel. Max, the receptionist, was a great help and recommended us a lot of beautiful places. He even waited for us to arrive to do the check in late in the night, as we were rerouted in the area and had some delays.

Negative: The breakfast could have been better - we didn't particularly like the food, but it was alright. Other than that, nothing to complain about.

Positive: The location is stunning, surrounded by beautiful, wild nature. Marco and all the hotel staff went out of their way to ensure I had an unforgettable visit, kindly arranging a couple of private tours to mountain lakes. The main road to Durmitor National Park was closed during my stay due to prior flooding, but it was still possible to vsit Mirror Lake and Biogradska National Park. On other days, I was more than happy to drink coffee and read in the sun, enjoying the amazing forrested mountain views and the sight and sounds of Tara Springs roaring below. I had a wonderful, unforgettable, week in the Montenegran mountains and look forward to my next visit.

Negative: Nothing to dislike. It's not a luxury hotel, but the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable - and very good value.

Summary: Kind hospitality, surrounded by incredible, wild beauty.

Positive: while you sit on the terrace the view at the small river is stunning. you can watch it for hours. and the sound gives you peace. the owner knows the place very well and he talks with so much passion about the surrounding… about all the different hills how they look like and how they are different even though they are just in a 3 km radius around.

Positive: The Ravnjak hotel is just fantastic. Its spirit and logistic make it perfectly connected with the surrondings and the nature. Having breakfast and dinner with the sound of the little river which is just below you is amazing. The staff is very kind. One episode make it clear: the first night we ordered dinner, we waited, it did not arrive, and in the end they just forgot our order. To make it up, they offered us the dinner the day after. So, albeit there could be some glitches, it is not a 5 stars hotel, the spirit is absolutely the right one!

Negative: The rooms are quite basic, but it is in line with the concept of the hotel and anyway clear from the pic, so nothing really to be signalled.

Summary: Having your breakfast with the sound of the river to wake you up: fantastic!
