Positive: The hotel is well located and the rooms are lovely. The staff are the stars, warm, friendly and helpful. Their natural warmth and helpfulness shines through.

Negative: When everything works it is great, but if something doesn’t work, nothing is done about it, despite repeated requests. Our heating broke down and was never fixed over 3 days.

Positive: The hotel location is great. It’s generally calm and relaxing. The reception looks very nice. The suites are very spacious and fairly well maintained and clean. The outside space with the pool looks very nice. The staff are nice and friendly. The dining room staff are extremely friendly and accommodating.

Negative: Reception staff need more training and better management to perform a correct check in and check out procedure. Timing of breakfast and dinner was not given at check in. We were asked to pay an additional 2000 dhm for New Year’s Eve dinner which they said was compulsory even though we had already paid for half board. This could have been communicated to us weeks ahead of check in. We had booked a pool view suite but were given a garden view suite instead. There were no towels on arrival in the room. We were only given one room key. No information of any kind was in the room about anything. Not even a single leaflet about the hotel or its services. There was no iron or ironing board in the room. The telephone in the room didn’t work and there was no phone directory to call anyone at all, even in case of an emergency, so we had to walk back to reception to ask for towels and only then they said there is an app we can download to request items if needed. So we requested an ironing board via the app. We were advised to use the paid laundry service to do any ironing because ironing boards were not available. This is totally unacceptable as we had shirts that needed ironing before wearing them. The gym was out of service and unavailable. The bathroom and especially the bath needed a good deep clean and a decent paint job. Break fast and dinner were good enough but definitely lacked 5-star quality and choice. Apart from water there were no other drinks available at dinner not even soft drinks. The lack of extractor fans in the dining room meant that your clothes would smell of cooking after every meal especially breakfast. The New Year’s Eve dinner that we paid 1000 dhm per head for, was a disappointment. No information of any kind was given to any guests about timings or what we should expect. We just turned up around 8pm when we would normally go to have dinner. There was some live music outside which was great to see. We were let in at 9pm to sit down.

Summary: Overall a good hotel with excellent potential if it was managed and maintained properly. As it is, it is definitely not

Positive: I had an amazing experience at this hotel! The room was cozy, spotless, and very comfortable, making me feel at home right away. The pool was one of my favorite parts, very clean, relaxing, and perfect for enjoying the sun. The breakfast each morning was delicious, with plenty of choices for all tastes. I really appreciated the fresh ingredients and the friendly atmosphere in the dining area. Overall, everything from the service to the facilities was excellent. A big thank-you to the staff for making my stay so enjoyable. I will absolutely be coming back!

Positive: I absolutely loved my staying at this hotel! I got a free upgrade to the suite, which was a very unexpected and very pleasant welcome gift. The room was amazing, so spacious and full of light, provided with jacuzzi and a lovely patio. The whole atmosphere at the hotel was very chill and quiet (maybe because it was a bit off-season), but I had a very relaxing time sitting by the pool or at the bar. The Spa went way beyond my expectations, I had the best Hammam ever and a the most relaxing massage. I also had dinner at the hotel a few times and I enjoyed it very much: the buffet offers a wide choice of local food, always fresh and well made. Also, everyone of the staff is so warm and welcoming! Aziz was so lovely, he always made feel at home :D

Negative: I wish I had more time to spend there, can't wait to go back.
