Summary: The location was perfect, the owner was a wealth of information, and breakfast was terrific.

Summary: This property is essentially a bed and breakfast with just a few rooms in a historic part of Ribe. It has a certain rustic charm, but the cleanliness and upkeep left a lot to be desired. The shower curtain and shower head were not clean and the body wash-shampoo container was empty. The 4 poster bed was nice but the top had not been dusted in some time. The breakfast was lovely with fresh rolls and Scandinavian toppings. The gentleman who checked us in was polite and thorough with the instructions. He clearly works hard, but this establishment needs some more upkeep.

Summary: Great location, very friendly welcome. The room was on the slant but then again it is 100’s of years old. Shared toilet but not a problem. Nice little bar fridge upstairs where you can help yourself and pay later. Great breakfast, it will keep you fed till the evening.

Summary: Characteristic old hotel in the very old town of Ribe. It felt like we went back in time. The shared bathroom for 3 rooms worked fine. Loved the slanted floors. Owner is friendly and fun. The breakfast was good and filling. We loved the whole experience. Free car parking outside the old town was great.
