Positive: The room was good, with excellent A/C, and plenty of room for the three of us. Breakfast was good and varied. We ate at the restaurant on both nights we stayed, and the food was very good.

Summary: Good provincial hotel in an excellent spot for exploring the surrounding countryside.

Positive: The Hotel was functional and in a good location. We booked a table in the restaurant for dinner. When we arrived we were told that the table was already booked and that we would have to dine in a soulless room upstairs. Having looked at this room, we declined and went elsewhere. The staff were particularly frazzled due to a carnival, but this shouldn't have happened and was not well dealt with. The breakfast was a bit underwhelming the following morning, so perhaps they did us a favour.

Positive: This is a fantastic hotel with friendly staff, clean rooms and great food! A highlight was the breakfast - it’s one of the best I’ve ever had at a hotel! It’s located a short walk from the bus/train station and there’s also a convenience store opposite if you want to buy any snacks. Can’t recommend staying here enough!

Negative: Nothing - everything was great! This wasn’t an issue for us and I’m not marking anything down but its worth mentioning so other people are aware - although the listing mentions an airport shuttle, there isn’t actually one available (its really easy to get there by train from Zürich airport anyway)

Summary: 10/10 Fantastic hotel! Can’t recommend here enough!
