Positive: Quiet, lakeside accommodations with decent pool and decent restaurant. The buffet breakfast was good. The pool tables and air hockey was great to have in the restaurant.

Negative: The hotel is apparently the oldest in Catemaco and the facilities could use some upgrading.

Positive: I loved the view of the lake. The area was incredibly tranquil and peaceful plus very easy to get to. I walked from the bus station and despite not really knowing where I was going the signage was clear and the road there was accessible. The cleaner was very friendly, the staff were accommodating to me not speaking much Spanish, and the pool was clean.

Negative: There was no access to food while I was there. I'm not sure if that's because I was out of season but there were no breakfasts or dinners or anywhere to purchase food. The staff had bottled water for sale (if they were there which they weren't always) which was expensive, especially if you're desperate. Despite the necessity of having to bring your own food there were no fridges to keep it in so pests were a problem. Lots of ants. Lots of cockroaches. Other than that I had a nice quiet time.

Positive: I loved the pool and the calm tropical ambience. It is wonderfully pet friendly ♡♡♡ They allowed guests to visit and swim for an extra fee ( for the swim)

Negative: The restaurant wasn't open much so we had to pay a taxi driver to bring us food
