Positive: Decently spaced double room, wood finishes and decorative pictures are very nice. Very good heating in rooms. Decent breakfast.

Negative: Could improve on cleanliness standards, bathroom had limescale residues and small traces of mould in corner of shower, there was also a specific smell lingering in the bathroom which was only exacerbated by the strong heating system. The shower could do with a better shelf for bathing essentials, ours was plastic, outdated and broken, it also didn’t hold a lot of space. The “couch” in the main room was stained and old, some staining was also visible on the carpet. Additionally, our room was prepared with only one pillow and a duvet even though the booking was made for 2 people - this was quickly rectified but made us feel like the staff were slightly disorganised. The lighting by the vanity was very poor which was quite inconvenient for myself being pregnant at the time of our stay, as I had to transfer to the bathroom where I couldn’t sit down to get ready in front of the mirror. The lights by the headboard are inconveniently placed and we often found ourselves knocking our heads on them, if they were installed right above the bedside tables instead there would be no problem. There was “no outside food on premises” policy which was quite strange for us and even inconvenient, as the hotel was hosting a large party in the restaurant downstairs on the Friday evening during our stay, meaning we felt like we had no choice but to leave the premises that evening just to have dinner. We avoided bringing in any food for the fear of being “fined” which seems absolutely ridiculous, we understand that this is done to encourage guests to use the restaurant facilities but we believe it had the opposite effect. No mini fridge in the room was also a slight shock.

Positive: Great price- value! Friendlyl staff, even arriving late, parking was just in front of the entrance. Peaceful area, warm room with super comfy beds. Wonderful breakfast with lovely coffee and fruits, there is all you need. highly recommend.
