Positive: The hotel is set in a stunning, historic German multi-family home that radiates charm and character while offering every modern amenity you could possibly need. Breakfast was a total highlight—absolutely outstanding, especially the delicious homemade jams! Tanja is an incredible host. Her warmth, kindness, and lightning-fast responsiveness made me feel truly welcome from the moment I arrived. You simply cannot beat the location, and the pricing is fantastic for such a high-quality experience.

Negative: Water pressure on 5th floor.

Positive: The location was really good - by the Universität U-bahn stop, which made it easy to get around town. There is also a bus with a direct connection to the main train station. The staff we encountered was friendly. The breakfast was nice (a cold continental breakfast with lots of nice touches, like homemade jam). The hotel had a nice vintage vibe. Our room was quiet. There were plenty of power outlets in the room and the power strip also had spots for USB-A cables.

Negative: We didn't have any towels and didn't realize it until after we got back to the room around midnight (long after staff was gone). The small garbage can in the communal bathroom was overflowing by check-out. Location-wise, even though the hotel is close to the art school and the LMU, almost all of the restaurants nearby were closed on a Sunday (exception: a Thai place with slow service where I paid over €20 for some really mediocre massaman curry). If you're coming from outside of Germany, be aware that there was one German pillow provided for each person. Two things that were OK for me, but might be deal breakers for other guests: The building does have an elevator for two people, but you have to go up about four stairs to get to the elevator. It was late July and the room also did not have any fans, etc. in it.

Summary: Overall, a clean, safe place to stay with good transportation connections.

Positive: My in-laws stayed at the accommodation for 4 nights and only had good things to say about it so I am speaking for them. Location is great, right next to U6. Everything was super clean and tidy. Breakfast was delicious. Staff was incredibly helpful. I accidentally booked my in-laws in a room with shared bathroom. Initially I thought they would be uncomfortable, but to be honest… The bathroom was cleaner than many of the rooms with private bathroom that we stayed in some Airbnbs. So in general it was a very good stay.

Negative: Perhaps the only minor issue was the pillow which my in-laws found to be uncomfortable. But to be fair, we did not ask the staff if they had another pillow to provide so I don’t think it was a problem.

Summary: Clean, tidy and amazing breakfast
