Positive: The staff were very helpful and were able to get our laundry cleaned, dried and folded before 5pm that same day. The cost was by weight and all came back in good order. Although it is the low season we made use of the restuarant. We did not make use of the pool as it had not been heated. The spa was however being used and the steam room was available. We did not make use of the small bar but made use of the room service menu, and being too tired to leave the hotel after sightseeing ate our meals in the restuarant. We made use of the jacuzzi in our room. There is a free airport transfer.

Negative: The room above ours had a jacuzzi, this made a knocking sound most nights but we did get used to it. We could hear the dogs barking across the street. The hotel is tired and needs refurbishment but it is cheap. There are broken bits and wobbly taps in our bathroom. There is no kettle but there is a large thermos in the dining room. You can get milk at breakfast but we bought a carton of milk from the local shop and kept it in the mini fridge.

Summary: Tired but fully equipped.

Positive: Very comfortable stay after doing the Inca trail. The spa was great, excellent massage, and jacuzzi in the room was delightful

Positive: The food and drink was really good! Enjoyed not having to search for somewhere to eat dinner. We loved the two balconies in the room, giving us light &fresh air. Being able to make our the tea and coffee in the room - rare to have and we appreciated it. The neighbourhood was calm and away from the tourist hot spots, so it was lovely to stroll in the local area. Lastly, the hot tub! Absolute treat and the main reason we booked this hotel.

Negative: Breakfast options- never anything I can eat, but included in the price, so my husband tried to enjoy. There was construction next door, so we had to contend with banging noises. The hot tub jets needed a deeper clean.
