Positive: A very unique place with a beautiful garden. I felt very welcome, the owner is personally involved in the daily operations of the hotel. Quite a new perspective compared to usual corporate hotels. Room was clean, up to expectation as per description and came with all the essentials I needed. Your stay comes with 2 cute dogs that love to play fetch.

Positive: What an amazing little diamond of a hotel! Andy and Zoli are the most amazing hosts and the breakfast can beat anything you have tried anywhere! Comfortable, quiet and perfect for a work trip (my case). It is one of those places you can't wait to come back to! Did I mention the amazing breakfasts? :)))

Positive: Everything. Service was 100/10. Room was extremely comfortable. Dogs were adorable. Internet and wifi solid and reliable. Shower was hot. I felt safe in the room and the area. The room was larger than anticipated, with a very large seating area. It was so relaxing and had a "relaxation spa" get away feel almost, with the quiet, trees, comfortable seating and fantastic bed.

Negative: Literally my only note here is that it was TOO wonderful and instead of exploring Budapeat I spent my day relaxing and unwinding and just enjoying the comfort and amenities. I would think about leaving and then be like".... or its such a nice day, I could sit under the tree and read". Honestly, it was a perfect pre-major trip opportunity to unwind. The blanket for the large bed was a bit small as others have noted, but as a solo traveller it was perfect for me!

Positive: I spend about eight months of the year abroad, living in around 20 countries and regions, and staying at nearly 40 hotels. Because of this, I usually never bother to write reviews. However, I felt compelled to do so this time, as it is rare to encounter a place with the level of service, hospitality, and facilities that Hotel Oswaldo provides. The rooms are clean and compact, carefully maintained by the owner himself, who even handcrafts some of the furnishings. Since the owner lives on the premises, I never felt any insecurity during my stay—there was always a sense that guests are genuinely cared for. Breakfast was also prepared with great consideration for my allergies, showing a level of attentiveness on par with luxury hotels. Although the hotel is located a bit farther from my actual travel destinations, I would still choose to stay at Hotel Oswaldo again on my next visit.

Summary: One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at !!
