Positive: Hotel is nicely placed for our return from touring in Europe, not too far from calais. There's a good selection of bars and restaurants nearby a supermarket and train station which you can take a trip out to ghent or bruges. The hosts are always welcoming and the rooms are clean and comfortable, so we will always try to book orchidee when passing through.

Positive: Easy to find, just off the motorway; plenty of parking outside and no problem checking in - the hotel gave us clear information that we'd need to check in by 4pm on a Sunday. We received a friendly welcome, and the lift to the 3rd floor and the air con in the room worked perfectly. It was only a five minute walk to the town square to find places to eat and drink in the evening. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of choice of breakfast items.
