Summary: The hotel stands out for its beauty, breakfast (perfect, varied, and delicious), location (right in front of the Himalayan mountain range, one of the most breathtaking views I have ever seen in my life), and facilities (it has everything: game room, swimming pool, hot tub, etc.). However, nothing compares to the staff — the team is outstanding and made us feel truly at home. I cannot wait to return to this hotel.

Summary: We had a really great time at Mystic Mountain. The service was awesome and the receptionist, Ms Gurung was super friendly and helpful. Our room had a nice big patio which we loved. However the shower room felt a bit small. If the weather is clear, you get an amazing view of the mountains and clouds right from the room. We were lucky to catch a perfect sunrise and stunning mountain views from our patio. It was absolutely beautiful. We arrived at Mystic Mountain by bike and unexpectedly ran out of gas. There wasn’t a gas station nearby but Ms. Gurung kindly guided us to a place in the market area which is about 10 minutes away from the hotel, where gas is sold in bottles. That truly saved our day. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely come back again.

Summary: The hotel property and service were excellent. The problem with this visit was that the mountains were not visible. We went in the recommended month, April, to see the mountains. All we saw was smog inversion from Kathmandu. There is nothing else to do around the property except view the mountains and use the resort facilities. The spa was excellent.
