Summary: It reminds me of an old Colonial style hotel, basic, but very pleasant to stay at, and the staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. breakfasts were good, and the main attraction, was overlooking the beach. Very reasonable prices. The town itself is not considered safe at night, but we had absolutely no problems at all. I would return to the same hotel again.

Summary: The staff at Hotel Montecarlo was very friendly and willing to help. The rooms are modest, clean and comfortable. Air conditioning, some with refrigerators and some ocean front. The front side terrace is a wonderful place to watch the sunset. We will return !
