Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The suite room was very clean and very spacious with a very comfortable mattress and a very good bathroom.

Negative: The room had a few things missing, such as no safe box, no tea making facilities and some areas were a bit run down, some cello-tapes stuck in a wall, a bathroom glass sliding door that did not slide (unless you made a huge effort - I had to open and close the toilet door for my wife every time) and a telephone that didn't work. These things were reported to the hotel. Despite of this the phone was never fixed, even though we were told this would be fixed. We stayed 2 nights only during the weekend, so an electrician might have not been available, but we expected they would come and replace it with a new phone. We didn't expect them to fix the door, as it would be major work. There were no spare rooms, unfortunately, to be relocated, so we had to live with these inconvenience, which wasn't too bad for 2 nights, but you expect more when you pay $200/night for a 4* hotel in Monzon (way over-priced). The hotel doesn't have ironing facilities, only a few irons that guests can borrow. We requested one, but never arrived because other guests were using it. We really needed this for ironing a wedding dress, but couldn't use it. Luckily, we had brought a hand held steamer that saved our life.

Summary: Nice, comfortable and (overpriced) clean hotel, but rooms & facilities need a bit more attention.
