Positive: The view from our balcony was spectacular. We looked over the Old Town peninsula and the sea. The hotel was a short walk away from an excellent choice of restaurants in both the Old and New parts of town. The rooms were clean and bright with comfortable chairs and lots of storage space.

Negative: The steep narrow road to get to the hotel was extremely difficult to drive. It is not recommended for inexperienced drivers! Thank goodness there was a hotel staff member who was a genius at parking the cars in the small underground parking lot. It was quite a daily shuffle! The outside breakfast area needed more umbrellas to provide better shade. It didn't help that the staff were taking up one of the few shady tables during the busy breakfast period. The breakfasts could be improved with more choices. The staff in the restaurant need to be better trained. Inside the room the carpet was a bit of a hazard as very bumpy.

Positive: Hotel requires numerous repairs and renovation, and most importantly a DEEP CLEANING. Upon arrival, we found a disgusting large blob of hair in the shower from previous guest. Hair dryer had lipstick and makeup on it. Shower head and the hose were covered with mold and didn’t function. It didn’t seem like even a basic cleaning had been performed. High guest’s traffic in resort area hotel and normal wear and tear is expected. But a lack of basic cleanliness and hygiene is unacceptable. There were several pros that balanced the cons and made our overall stay enjoyable. Location is amazing! Close to Old town, best restaurants, grocery store and countless small shops with everything you need in 10 minutes walk from hotel. Breathtaking views from every room. Secluded private beach with crystal clear pleasant temperature water. The beach was clean and safe to leave belongings while swimming. Clean pool on rooftop, even if the water was too cold to enjoy the pool, the view was beautiful. The area is very peaceful. Right next to the hotel there is an orthodox church with olive grove, across the church is a cemetery. It was always quiet at night. Hotel has good soundproof rooms. There was a baby in the room next to ours, we haven’t heard him at all. Non smoking in the rooms policy is respected - no smell was noticed. The bed was clean and comfortable. Air conditioner functioned properly. Breakfasts were good. The staff were very nice. Everyone was working hard and doing their best to provide good service.

Negative: Very dirty rooms. I booked three rooms for our big family, and each of the three rooms we stayed had issues. The floor carpet was not vacuumed, probably, for several weeks. Besides the hair and all kind of stains, there were obvious signs of water damage - the carpet was deformed, wavy and curled up on the sides. Mirror in the bathroom installed high. I am 163 cm (5’3”) and couldn’t see the lower part of my face in that mirror. We were only provided with two towels per person for three nights - one facial and one bath towel. No wash cloths and no floor towel. No extra pillows or blankets. Electronic key readers didn’t work. The key card holder inside the room was taped to the wall. When we arrived, our room didn’t have cups, tiny kettle was malfunctioning. Be aware, this hotel is not for people with mobility limitations. Besides of natural extremely steep landscape, there are 20 big steps to enter the lobby and about 70 to get down to the beach.

Summary: Unfortunately, this hotel was a big disappointment for us.
