Negative: They are understaffed (they said it was low season). Especially in the kitchen.

Positive: We picked this place to stay for the Nazca Lines airport. In the end it couldn't have been closer so was excellent for that. The place has a lot of charm. It's really dated but it's like a museum piece. It's quirky and we were happy to have stayed there.

Negative: It was difficult to find and there was a long drive along an unsurfaced road. We arrived in dark and it took some conviction to keep going on the road. When we arrived we thought that the hotel was closed down as it wasn't clear how we get in to the hotel with our car. In the end, when our hire car's alarm got set off, a gate keeper arrived and we eventually persuaded him we had a booking and he let us in. All a bit strange. But once in, we were happy if a little bemused to have stayed there.

Summary: Quirky, charming period piece, close to Nazca airport with very cost effective rooms.

Positive: The haciendas architecture is very nice. Beds are very comfortable. Dinner was good. Very close to the airport for the nazca lines tour.

Negative: Breakfast is very simple. The hotel even though externally looks beautiful, rooms are antique and need renovating, the room even smells like old. I had a vehicle but if others don’t, need to consider this as it quite far from the main avenue and town.

Positive: It’s a magnificent huge Hacienda turned into a large hotel. The property has tons of textiles from the different cultures in exhibits around it and peacocks that walk about the gardens. Perfect for a destination type wedding with accommodations for all the guests. The reception desk staff was super helpful in getting us a flight to the Nazca lines upon our arrival! Everything was very clean.

Negative: The property could use an update, but it is a beautiful property. The restaurant’s service is kind but very slow, specially considering we were one of 2 guests staying there at that time… the food is just okay, nothing exceptional. The property is tricky to reach as it is located outside of town following a dirt road. Take the turn that is closest to the Nazca Airport. Not the other turn that gets you to some small water source that sometimes floods and cannot be crossed with a small car!

Summary: Beautiful location for the adventurous at heart!

Positive: Wonderful hacienda-style hotel which is also a museum at the same time. Founded sometime in the late 17th century and is one of Peru's most prominent colonial-style hotels. A fantastic place for relaxing for singles or family far away from the rush and noise of the Nazca city. Great pool.

Negative: Amenities are quite poor, rooms are simple almost auster but that is what you would expect in this type of hotel.

Summary: Greta place to get relaxed in wonderful hacienda-style environment
