Negative: Room had no window looking out, which made it quite cell-like and claustrophobic. I was extremley unhappy that I was not given the room I had booked and was confirmed in writing by Booking.com, especially as I had paid a higher rate for this room.

Summary: Great place to stay as it is in the heart of Old Town Cordoba and close to most points of interest.

Positive: Lovely little boutique hotel in the old part of Cordoba, great location, just a few minutes walk from restaurants and everything we wanted to see. Our room was really well laid out and full of nice design touches, everything was very thoughtful. The staff were great, very attentive without being overbearing, knowledgeable, and kind. We’d definitely return. Would be even better if it was adults only but that’s a very small thought.

Negative: We were upgraded to a 'superior' room that turned out to be in the attic, and wasn't as nice as the room I'd booked in the first place. Looking back I'd have preferred to stay put. I'm not sure the room in the attic was really an upgrade, but instead presented as such..!

Positive: Well located. Nicely designed and great lovely helpful staff.

Negative: Most rooms opens into a patio that was closed due to the weather. And they do not inform you of that in advance. That made the rooms stuffy and claustrophobic. Also it was clear they chose form over quality and practicality in the design and furnishing.

Positive: The warmth of the staff was exceptional from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. They were attentive and professional and made our stay feel like home. The whole place is tastefully decorated and the roof terraces give a remarkable 360-degree view of the city. This place is a gem.

Negative: Not a thing. Everything was exceptional.
