Summary: The hotel staff were very friendly and polite. The rooms were lovely. We were a crowd of 8, with 2 families of 4 in 2 rooms. I emailed the hotel directly to ensure my booking definitely catered for the age of our kids -extra bed and cot- and they replied same day with no complications. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and well decorated. Breakfast was good and the location was great too. Our main reason for being there was to visit family so didn't do much in terms of culture etc but the shops are within walking distance and the trams are within walking distance too -that's with small kids as well. Love the fact the hotel is independent and not belonging to a huge chain. As I'm a big tea drinker I have to mention there is no kettle in the room but the staff will always boil water for you at any time, day or night. Or you could take a kettle with you. A lovely hotel and friendly staff.
