Positive: Location, location, location! On a quiet lane just 2 minutes from Durbar Square. Very clean, comfortable beds, excellent hit water shower. Value for the money.

Negative: Very cold room but it was late November in Nepal so that is to be expected

Positive: I thought that from the room the mountain view would be clear which was not. The hotel people (the owner and his family were humble no doubt) but the facilities were not up to the mark. They even gave us an upgrade on the room ( so nice of them) but the facilities were not up to the mark. If they work on that add more staff and facilities like toiletries, AC, and a ceiling fan(mandatory). Humble people work there, it's their home but when you are operating a hotel it should be better One that is my honest Openion. *** A very crucial thing to mention is that the hotel is under the Bakhtapur heritage site and to enter the area needs ticket and the price is 500 NPR which was a total surprise for us. Both booking.com and the hotel while confirming and on WhatsApp should inform beforehand that! It led us a total surprise and we were not happy about that at all!***

Negative: They have no ceiling fan. It was written mountain view but the mountains were far far away.

Summary: It was a total budget friendly room. Too much expectation might hurt you.

Positive: The room was spacious, clean and the bed so comfortable. Location was fantastic being just along from Durban Square with restaurants and everything you need on your doorstep. Staff were really friendly and even helped organize our transport when we left. A really nice stay!
