Positive: Our stay at this hotel was a good one. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a stunning view of both the sea and the mountains. The room was spacious, with a balcony facing the sea, while also offering a mountain view. The room was clean, although the furniture and facilities were a bit old, but still well-maintained. Reaching this hotel definitely requires a car. If you are traveling along the Italian coast using public transportation, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel, as there is no shuttle service to the train station. However, there was a shuttle from the hotel to the beach. One of the challenges we faced was the language barrier. It was quite difficult to communicate in English, as the staff barely spoke any. This made even simple requests a bit frustrating. There were also some small but important things missing in the room — for example, there was no drinking water provided, and no electric kettle to make a simple cup of tea. If you wanted water, you had to go downstairs to the bar and purchase it, and the same went for tea. When we arrived, there were no welcome drinks or even a complimentary bottle of water in the room. On the positive side, the view was absolutely amazing. Breakfast was served in a beautiful garden, and the setting was simply breathtaking — you could never get tired of that scenery. However, the breakfast itself was quite poor. There were just a few pastries, some bread, butter, and jam — and when things ran out, they were not replenished.

Negative: The overall service felt lacking, which was unfortunate given how beautiful the hotel and its surroundings are. I sincerely hope the hotel can improve its hospitality and service to match the incredible location it enjoys.
