Positive: The location was very convenient and the room was comfortable and generally well maintained. The overall property had a nice atmosphere, and I liked that there were useful facilities available in the room.
Negative: The bathroom could have been cleaner, and there was some trash left in the bin when I arrived. The water was also extremely hot, and I was unable to get cold water, which made using the bathroom uncomfortable. I also had an issue with the late check-out. I had already informed the staff that I wanted to check out a little late and had agreed to pay the applicable hourly rate. However, while I was out for work, I received a call from a staff member questioning why I had not informed them about the late check-out. The tone of the call felt quite harsh, and I was repeatedly asked about my check-out despite having already discussed it with the hotel.

Negative: The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. However, our interaction with the owner was less positive. We found her manner somewhat abrupt and not particularly welcoming. She also seemed quite confrontational when questioning why we had not booked directly with the property, which made the interaction feel uncomfortable. While the accommodation itself was very good, a warmer and more hospitable approach would have improved the overall experience.

Negative: We had a room without a window, so next time we would get one with a window for ventilation and natural light.

Positive: This is a small hotel in the downtown, the rooms are good looking, location is superb. Staff was very helpful. There's a nice restaurant just next door. So, I had pretty much everything for a joyful stay in Chandigarh.
