Positive: Beautiful comfortable well maintained small inn. Nice onsen which you can reserve for private use during some hours of the day. The staff were great. The breakfast was amazing!

Positive: I will never forget the wonderful experience I had at the hotel. The staff were kind, warm, and excellent at communication. The room was clean and well-maintained, and the hot spring was perfect for relieving travel fatigue. The location was also very convenient, with great restaurants and tourist attractions within walking distance. I would definitely love to stay here again when I visit Japan in the future. I sincerely thank all the staff at Hotel Kazahaya for their thoughtful care during my stay.

Positive: The location was great, in the old town with parking provided. The staff were friendly and helpful but the facilities were less than expected, uncomfortable bedding, terrible small pillow and tiny thin towels. We feel that overall it did not represent value for money.

Positive: Charming small old school Japanese inn with warm and responsive hospitality. The food was excellent. Breakfast was traditional Japanese with varied dishes made with local seasonal ingredients. Dinner was a kind of Japanese/French fusion. Easy access parking right out front. Don’t hesitate, just book this hotel.

Positive: Owner was very helpful , provided pick up for us from the bus. Beautiful old family ryokan. Outstanding breakfast and facilities, staff are very helpful, location is quiet and peaceful
