Positive: My particular room #13 even though it is extremely spacious is right next to the shinkansen. It doesn't bother me one bit as I'm a fairly easy person to please and not too picky. But others might find that particular room noisy if they're light sleepers.

Negative: I liked everything about hotel Joyce.
