Summary: Il Pellicano is a dream. The property is stunning and exquisitely maintained. The views are breathtaking. The staff is most gracious. The perfect place for a peaceful and restorative getaway. We tried both dining options for dinner--the informal as well as the Michelin-starred dining room--and both were excellent. The latter was one of the best meals we've ever had anywhere, and we're serious food people who live in New York. We'll be back.

Summary: What a lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. I spent 3 nights here and would have happily have stayed longer. I visited in October and the weather was partly cloudy most of the time but that did not dent the enjoyment of idling by the pool or at the hotel beach or swimming in the Tyrrhenian Sea. The service was friendly, professional and instantly responsive. The food and drink were superior. The accommodations were spacious and well-appointed. My aim is to return here as soon as I can for another memorable vacation.
