Positive: It is a little Japanese garden oasis in the heart of Kone. Great homemade breakfast and use of locally produced goods. Lovely pool. Really good staff.
Negative: That there was no restaurant and it’s been closed for a long time. Shortage of tourists and guests means a lack of atmosphere generally. No wifi for first 24 hours on site.
Summary: Started poorly but developed into a really good 48 hour stay.

Positive: Although on the main road the rooms are set around courtyard and pool and very quiet. The rock garden is spectacular, as are the Polynesian artefacts in the public spaces. Our room with small patio in front looked out to the garden. The restaurant is quite good.
Negative: No tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Spooky LED lights in the shower. Limited menu in the restaurant.
Summary: A uniquely decorated hotel with pacific motif.
