Positive: My husband and I were traveling around Friesland with our teen-aged granddaughter, and we had stayed at this Inn many years ago, so we went back. It has changed hands since then, and it is still charming. The new owner is friendly and helpful. It's just a short drive to Balsward, where we went for dinner, and an easy trip to Sneek the next morning. The breakfast was the best we had on our whole trip. Our rooms were clean and comfortable.

Negative: It did not bother us, but the stairway to the second floor, where the rooms are, is steep. The manager helped us get our bags up there, so it wasn't a problem for us. But others should be aware.

Positive: The room was cute and very welcoming. I loved that we could prepare coffee and tea in the room. Matrassess and pillows were very comfortable. The room was warm and this is very appreaciative during Dutch rainy weather. Great curtains they blocked the outdoor light perfectly. The toilet and the shower were impecable. We got provided with enough towels.

Negative: That the bed was composed of two individual matrasses and individual duvets. This compromissed the comfort. If you have light sensitivity bring a blindfold, the small green light from the smoke detector was quite bright in comparisson with how dark the room was.
