Positive: Location is excellent, at the heart of Regensburg's old city. The room was large, airy and comfortable, on the front of the hotel, overlooking one of the old streets. The breakfast is good but the range of food available isn't as wide as some, but that's commensurate with a 41-room hotel. The front-of-house staff are extremely polite and helpful.

Negative: The hotel is quite expensive but you're paying for quality and the best location in the old city, so, as long as people realise that, they should have nothing to complain about - we didn't, as it was our second stay at the hotel.

Summary: An excellent hotel with excellent staff, in the best location in the old city.

Positive: We liked the stay. The staff is very friendly. We loved the location. The room was quite comfortable and the breakfast was very nice. So nice to get Weißwürste every morning. Would definitely stay there again.

Negative: The workout room would be much better if the hotel would just get rid of the silly universal machine and replace it with a nice set of dumbbells and a couple of benches and yoga mats. The existing workout room is, basically, a joke.

Summary: Lovely old hotel in the heart of Regensburg with great staff.

Positive: The bed was good. The sheets were just ok.

Negative: Bathtub was narrow. Window in bathroom needed a shade or eliminated.
