Positive: Location was decent. Check in staff was very pleasant and helpful. Able to upgrade to private bath upon check-in, which was great. Main hallway kinda dark and Shining-like! Bed was fine. The area is picturesque and we had fun walking around. Room was quiet and pretty private.

Negative: Overall the property is worn and showing its age. We couldn’t get our television to work at all, despite trying for a really long time. There’s odd appointments, like industrial hand soap dispenser and a giant industrial toilet paper dispenser. The strangest thing was the electricity and lights. We realized when we woke up that none of our devices had charged as, when you turn the lights off, ALL THE ELECTRICITY TO THE ROOM GOES OFF. It was really odd and left us shaking our heads, trying to figure out what to do about our devices. Our room window faced the back grass verge and houses.

Positive: Good price, if you like farmhouse feel.

Negative: Shared bathrooms upstairs both had showers. This meant they were tied up all evening. Very noisy with people coming and going all hours. Having to go downstairs, in front of people in lobby in pjs just to pee wasn’t worth the price for me.
