Summary: Creative custom rooms with decorations that reflect different aspects of Floyd. Great breakfast, loved the baked apples and the coffee was really good. Walking distance from the town, including Floyd General Store.

Summary: Hotel retains its charm and perfect downtown location. Years into the hotel's life, there's still no sign up front directing traffic to the upper (main ) parking lot, and poor signage in that lot to get folks to the sidewalk leading to the hotel. (the front desk didn't even mention their unusual parking arrangement). I also wish they would have plastic drinking glasses in the bathroom. I broke a glass one. (I was clumsy at times, but so are other guests. The risks exceed the benefits.)

Summary: The bed was so comfy. Also great pillows. I was tempted to steal one. ;-) Staff at the front desk recognized me as a female solo traveler, and asked if I might be more comfortable in the main building, as opposed to the motel style annexes. I appreciated the check-in person was so attuned.

Summary: Very nice hotel with friendly staff. It’s just a short walk to the restaurants and shops, including the Floyd Country Store. The rooms were large with nice amenities and comfortable beds. Hot breakfast was good too. I’d definitely stay there again!
