Summary: The Bistro restaurant stood out - the staff was amazingly friendly and the food really good compared to the Esplande one where it felt like there had been a conflict or something as some staff was quite curt and looked very serious. It also took a long time to get served. For breakfast, we just felt that compared to other 5 star hotels - and this is a very small detail, but the cappucino was bleak and we missed the sweet cinnamon/cardemom hearts etc that usually come on top. Overall though, the experience was very positive and we could envision coming back.

Summary: Good location very close to main town square- 10min easy walking distance. The hotel has a lot of history as it is more than 100years old and they did an amazing job maintaining and keeping it modernized yet retain much of its history. Staff was excellent, very pleasant and helpful. Recommended

Summary: Stayed one night. The hotel has a beautiful history, but some parts of the rooms need an upgrade. But overall a beautiful hotel.

Summary: This hotel was centrally located and walking distance to everything I needed. All of the staff were lovely and attentive. The room was large, clean, and the bed was comfortable. The restaurant featured fine dining in the evening and beautiful breakfast options. This hotel had an art deco vibe and top notch service and while it may not be modernized like so many new basic hotels I appreciated the old school elegance and attention to detail that newer hotels lack. I would absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a classy stay.

Summary: We stayed here on our last evening in Croatia and wish our stay had been longer. The concierge provided a map and suggestions on a walking tour of Zagreb. We found his recommendation perfect to discover a wonderful city in a few hours. The hotel provided ultimate service and luxury. It was so lovely!

Summary: The check-in and check out process was entirely too slow and cumbersome. They need more staff to handle their volume of guests. This was the most frustrating part of our stay.The hotel is very clean but outdated. We enjoy traditional, European style accommodations but the hotel feels tired. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable

Summary: First time staying was great, but second time the shower had mildew and the TV would regularly freeze and need powered off. When I mentioned these issues at checkout the employee did not seem to care, saying something to the effect of that's too bad.
