Summary: Nice old-style bed and restaurant hotel with a lovely staff that was very detail oriented during check-in. Felt very at home in the pub area and during meals. Bedding was quite comfortable and peaceful. You will hear guests walking about the stairs and over your room with the older wooden build, but it was part of the charm in a way. Dinner was very good and the morning breakfast spread is typical European flair and filled us up for the day. Views of the mountainside were wonderful, TV selections vary in many different languages if you get stuck inside for a bit. Small grocery store across the street and the Post Bus heading to Stans or Seelisberg picks up right in front of the hotel. Very convenient for hikers or if you want to take one of the few cable cars up the mountains.

Summary: Our only issue with the room was because there wasnt any airconditioning so it needed a fan, as it was very warm.
