Positive: Male concierge greeting us was lovely. And very informative. The sound of the river flowing around the property was amazing. The free use of the hot springs whilst being able to gaze out at the mountains. Lovely place.

Negative: Nothing. But you wouldn’t mind have to get a taxi to food if You didn’t want to eat here. It is close to Chivay but would take an hour to drive out to scenic hikes/mirador Condor etc.

Positive: Wonderful place in the wild. Really enjoyed the hot springs, even though they were not super hot. The dinner we had at the restaurant was very good! Staff was kind and welcoming

Negative: As mentioned, hot springs were not that hot and they felt cold after sunset

Positive: The property is located in a stoning river, the place it’s completely beautiful and natural, this is for sure the best fact about the hotel. The staff were nice, they helped us carry the luggage to our room which was actually far from the reception. The hotsprings are natural and mineral, coming from the mountain. The breakfast was a decent buffet with a variety of options. Great other thing is that is quit, Peru can be noisy as people wake up early, but in this hotel you can sleep until a normal time (8am instead of 5 am)

Negative: The first thing we definitely didn’t like was the beds and pillows, they were hard and not the nicest, for the price of the hotel we were expecting better, the rooms are nice and spacious, while the place was clean, it did felt a bit dusty. The hotel only provides you with a pump of soap, no conditioner or shampoo, again for a hotel of their status this is a must. Finally the hot springs are not very hot, they did warm us it was “ideal temperature” 38 degrees, but if you come from Europe or North America you usually expect hotsprings way hotter than this, I still think that there might be a natural factor in terms of the temperature of the water so I mean it’s what you get for having an actual natural hot spring.

Positive: Location is stunning. It is by the river, nice and quiet. Beautiful views. Room was big and comfortable. The beds were great. The dinner at the hotel's restaurant and the service was really nice. The thermal water pool was great.

Negative: Hotel receptionists were not that helpful. The breakfast was a buffet but there was a staff lady checking what you put in your plate. The toilet could have been better cleaned. Taxi drivers charge 20 soles to take you to the hotel from Chivay (10min ride). Taxis are quite expensive in Chivay as there is not Uber and they charge you what they want.
