Summary: Beautiful hotel centrally located with incredible heritage but unfortunately not well maintained. The pool area was run down, the service very average (forgot to refill water, room not clean at arrival etc) but room with beautiful views and staff very friendly

But its Moorish-style architecture, ceramic decor, and garden make for a charming stay. On a practical level, breakfast is particularly varied, and the restaurant is a good option for dinner. The most negative point is the very late noise when there's a wedding... or when the tennis court is cleaned too early. You'll need multi-plugs to charge electronic devices from the room's only socket. Very good price for the value and atmosphere if you don't feel lost elsewhere than in an international chain hotel.
