Summary: We booked the hotel to go for skiing in Formigal. The reception is located at the bar, next to local guys drinking beer. The room (201, standard room) is very small and looks quite old, as the whole hotel does. No glasses, no hairdryer, nothing. A lot of mould on the ceiling and the tiles of the bathroom The pictures do not show the real situation. Dinner is served only from 20:30 on and was really bad for the price. After 23:00 no one of the staff is there until 9 in the morning. Means no coffee or breakfast if you want to go a bit earlier. The heating is switched off during the night and not working in the morning, so with minus temperatures outside it’s freezing inside, specially in the bathroom. Not pleasant. Local youth that was drinking at the bar tried to rob our skies fixed at the car roof and were „writing“ nasty things on the car. Had to frighten them away.

Summary: This is a no frills place to stay. That said, the staff are lovely, breakfast is nice and very good value. Our room smelt heavily of cigarettes, so we had to have the balcony doors open all night to clear it. The shower head in the bathroom was broken so it sprayed water at the ceiling and there were dead flies. That said it was functional and ok for what it is. Wouldn’t stop me going there again as a stop over.

Summary: A lovely hotel but a long way from the main road. We had a fairly new room in a building next to main hotel. Lovely views of the mountains but not much in the village. We only stayed one night on our way to Spain, but would stop again for longer. No lift in the part of the hotel we were in so no good for disabled.

Summary: It was a stopover on our way from southern Spain to UK.. before going over the pyrennees the next day in the daylight.Pretty ski lodge type hotel with little facilities,but food good value and room/shower room very clean. Friendly staff. Nothing else much around to do in evening unless you get car to nearest town.
