Positive: The rooms were large, modern and super clean. The breakfast was extraordinary for such a small hotel. There was a buffet with huge variety and even eggs cooked to order. It is not far from the motorway and there is plenty of free parking on site. The old town, with lots of restaurants etc. is only a couple of minutes walk.

Negative: The hotel is on the main road through Bitburg, which was not immediately obvious from the pictures. It was quite loud, particularly if you want to have the window open in the summer. We were a little surprised that reception is not manned on a Sunday at all and that all keycards for check ins that day are simply left in a keysafe accessible with a pin, which was sent to us. As far as I can make out there was no staff on site at all on the Sunday. It felt a bit weird. I expect better from a four star hotel.
