Summary: Nice, clean hotel right at the tumulus. Very convenient with a lift and en suite toilet and shower. However, the front desk is only open until 10pm and food is $$$$.

Summary: Our short stay at Hotel Tumulus is quite memorable not only because of the view of the St. Michael Tumulus from our hotel window but also the friendliness and the care the hotel staff gave to us. The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, quiet and very comfortable. We will stay with them again and will gladly recommended them to friends and family.

Summary: Hotel in great location for town and attractions. Asked for a quiet room and got it by being upgraded to the annex building 30 meters away from main building. Restaurant very good despite some staff being a lttle starchy. if wi fi is lmportant to you then be aware it does not function at all reliably which is a pity. Main negative point is the telephone in our room does not function yet this is the only way to signal a fire for example. Nobody took notice of this despite our efforts. Shame. Apart from this point everything good.
