Positive: Really nice family run hotel in the Czech wine area. Rooms light and friendly, bed comfortable, bathroom very clean, breakfast good, and a restaurant & bar area with an English touch. The staff was super friendly and gave good recommendations where to go for Dinner as they had their restaurant closed that evening.

Positive: We were here 16 years ago for our honeymoon so it was nice to return and see the bar and restaurant hadn't changed from the British vibe we remembered. Michal and his wife were charming and made us very welcome. Dinner was good, breakfast, although limited in terms of choice, was tasty - superb scrambled eggs.

Negative: It's advertised as a 'British' themed hotel but with no English breakfast! No fresh milk or cereal, no cut veggies or pastries, nor fruit or fruit yoghurts, so a bit limited in terms of choice. Weird flooring in the bedroom - some kind of linoleum more suited to a hospital than a hotel. Missing mosaic tiles in the shower cubicle gave it a bit of a neglected feel. And the battered vinyl sofa was really uncomfortable and didn't deserve to be in the room. The 3 star rating it claims is stretching it a bit.

Positive: very good breakfast , friendly staff

Negative: one of the room windows was on east side and blinds were broken so it was very hot in the morning. no place to put hygienic staff in bathrooms
