Summary: A large, modern hotel with large grounds for tennis and exercise. The hotel and its large $5 per day parking lot is conveniently located right at the entrance to old town Tomar. Its a 10 minute walk from the hotel to the center of Tomar with dozens of shops and restaurants. 20 minute walk or 10 minute car ride to the Templar castle complex.

Summary: We chose this hotel as unlike most, it had a pool - infact 2, 1 inside and 1 outside. We had a great room - large with seating area and a view of both the pool and the castle. Superking bed which was very comfortable. Disapponted no iron available. It is, by comparison to others in Tomar, a large hotel and whilst its used by coach tours its quiet whilst being in easy walking distance of the beautiful town and its attractions. There's a good choice at breakfast although the coffee machines take ages. The hotel don't seem to promote the restaurant for evening meal so we didn't try it. Would stay again
