Positive: The room was a good size and the beds were extremely comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and the continental breakfast brought to our table immediately after we were seated was good. We also ate dinner in Fitz's Bar and the staff and food were exceptional here. The brownies in the room on arrival and the brown bread package to take home were a nice touch.

Negative: The room was very hot and we couldn't turn the heating down. We asked at reception for more tea and milk and had to go back out later in the day to ask again as it hadn't been delivered to the room as promised. When we went down for breakfast, we were waiting almost 10 minutes to be seated, even though there were only two tables occupied in the whole restaurant. There were no staff members anywhere to be seen. There was no acknowledgement of this from the staff member who seated us. The pressure in the shower wasn't very good and the shampoo dispenser was not working.

Summary: Lovely hotel and staff. Food delicious, but the few things listed below let it down.

Positive: The front desk person was exceptional so friendly helpful with tips— a great representation of the hotel — she was blonde and originally from Northern Ireland can’t remember her name loved having fitz for dinner and breakfast and the little pub! Truly how I pictured Ireland

Negative: The water when I drew a bath was brown No washcloths

Negative: If you can add more vegetarian meals to your restaurant’s menu then it will be a plus point as nowadays there are many vegetarian travelers

Positive: Free breakfast was exceptional! It was a full menu breakfast which included a “mini” continental breakfast that was brought to the table. Not breakfast but, upon checking out we were given a a much appreciated package of brown bread!

Negative: They had a problem with their water. It was brown. And not sufficiently hot for one shower.
