Positive: Excellent location. Right across from the cathedral and market. For a busy location it is suprisingly quiet because it is well set back from the road. Staff were all very helpful. The pool was nice, and the jacuzzi (100 pesos to heat it up, for private use) was excellent and a highlight of our stay. Breakfast was ok: good unlimited coffee, and a hot dish of your choice. But unpleasant articial 'juice drink', and no menu to help you know what you could choose.

Negative: our room had a window onto a corredor right in front of the carpark: it was noisy Sunday morning when some guests dragged their suitcases accross the carpark and drove out. If you can get a room overlooking the pool it will be quieter (unless the couple with their own ghetto blaster are playing electronic music while they enjoy the pool in the evening!! lol) It would be better if there is a simple piece of paper with the breakfast 'menu' on, so you know what is available. Some proper fruit juice o 'agua de fruta' would be good! It would have been good to know that the main gates are locked after a certain time (or be given a key!): we had to bang and bang to be heard and let back in!
