Summary: We stayed at Hotel Cristallo for 11 nights and had a fantastic experience! The hotel is exceptionally clean, and the staff are simply amazing—kind, helpful, and truly wonderful human beings. You can feel their warmth throughout the entire hotel. The beds were very comfortable, and every detail was taken care of. The hotel is in a calm and peaceful area, just an 8-minute walk from the center of Malcesine. There’s a bit of noise from cars and Vespas now and then, but it didn’t bother us at all. Highly recommended—we can’t wait to come back!

Summary: Nice friendly staff. Room was very hot. Informed reception that AC wasn’t working only to be told that it’s only switched on in July & August. I pointed out that it’s advertised as having AC on Expedia & she replied, we have no communication with Expedia, but all tour operators are aware. Had to sleep with the doors open onto communal area. Food, particularly breakfast was very poor quality & decided to eat out most days despite being half board. Would not go back. Avoid.
