Positive: Beautiful ocean view. Access to a sauna, steam room, and a pool. The room service was great. Check in was really fast and instructions were clear and precise. If you need a luxurious stay after a hard day of bike touring, this is the place.

Negative: One of the staff assumed I was American. I find this a bit rude considering politics in 2025. I'm Canadian. Please don't assume. We arrived by bike and the bike parking was subpar by North American standards. The bike stand can only attach to a wheel and isn't bolted to the ground. Nonetheless, the bikes weren't stolen or tampered with. The sauna was a bit cold, but it's Portugal and not Scandinavia. The cold shower was only room temperature, so too warm. To be fair to the property, I didn't ask if either could be warmer or colder.

Positive: Good location on the beach front. Easy parking for bicycles, tho you need to have your own locks and parking area was not secure. It has a good indoor pool. Breakfast very good.

Negative: The initial point of contact with the staff at the front desk was not welcoming. Buffet dinner was ordinary. Overall the staff did not seem interested in clients and in my opinion need urgent training in this area.

Negative: Bed wasn’t that comfortable. The elevator wasn’t working. It’s on the beach but the beach wasn’t very nice. Only a few dining options in the area

Positive: * I stayed in January. Heating was working fine, and regulated, it was never too cold. I also didn’t hear noise. And kept windows closed during the night. * “Side view” room was looking at the aqua park. There’s no way to catch the sea view from the room. you need to go out on the balcony instead * Breakfast was fine, it was better on Saturday than on Monday. Both limited fruits, and continental (eggs, potato) options available. And also better in the first hour than in the last :) * It was right by the seaside. It was nice to have a few walks there. Not sure if the beach is good during summer.

Negative: * Swimming pool was not working, even though website stated it will be open by that date. I didn’t want to spend even more time search other options, so stayed here. if I knew it from the beginning, I probably won’t stay here. * There’s no transport to the airport from the city. And there’s 0 Uber/taxi coverage as well. My friend left earlier to leave the car we rented, and I had really hard time getting out of this town to the nearby bigger city. No marked bus stops, no timetables, not relevant Google search. * There were a few not occupied parking places outside in January, when there’s no people around. But can’t imagine where people put their cars in the summer.

Positive: The hotel is super well located and nicely decorated. The Christmas decorations were outstanding. Staff is super nice and welcoming. The spa facilities are excellent. The staff at the Spa are incredibly helpful, professional, and competent. I thoroughly recommend it.
