Positive: Lovely hotel. Even though decorating taking place it still felt very relaxed. Breakfast was fantastic from hot plate to continental options. Breads were amazing.

Negative: Couldn’t switch the room radiator off, very hot in the room and had to open the windows. Fortunately near zero temperature outside. Very noisy road after 5am. My fault for not reporting it during our stay. As we were out early and back late. Reported on leaving and I am sure it would have been done before the next occupants arrived.

Positive: Hotel Cortina is a well managed hotel in the center of a little town, Wevelgem. The hotel radiates the values of the family behind it. Staff is super friendly. Rooms are basic, but good and very comfortable beds.

Negative: Just offer a welcome drink, even if it's just some fresh mineral water.

Summary: Stay within a hotel as if you are part of the family.
