Summary: I would highly recommend Hotel Convento Tarifa. It was recommend to us by a friend and it did not disappoint. From the moment we walked into the hotel we felt very welcome. Lulu was so nice and helpful with recommending places to see and where to eat depending on our likes. The room was very clean and comfy. Very close to the ferry to Morocco and the beach.

Summary: First, I booked the wrong day, and the rate was nonrefundable. I sent them a message, and they switched the day of arrival. They could have stuck me an didn't. Classy! The room was great, nice courtyard behind. Front desk person gave me a map and told me where to go. The hotel is close to the old section of town. I even walked from the ferry to the hotel. Nice little coffee shop in the back.

Summary: We liked how helpful the staff was, the location near the old town was great and it was close to some shopping. We did not like that no coffee was in the room. Breakfast and coffee were available for a cost.

Summary: Very unassuming from the outside, but with a spectacular interior. A wonderful lady at the reception. Conveniently located if you want to explore the old town and/or catch the ferry for a day trip to Morocco. For a fee, the hotel offers parking in an underground car park about 150 meters away - the only space available was too narrow for my midsize SUV, but there is an excellent public parking garage with valet service also just 150 meters away, and even slightly cheaper than what you would pay at the hotel.
