Positive: Beautiful hotel in Demjén, right next to a thermal bath. The rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable. The big suite was especially impressive. It was perfect for Christmas celebration with family. Food was great with varied selection.

Negative: Some members of the staff could have been friendlier. The neighbouring cave bath is on the pictures, giving the impression that it belongs to the hotel, when it actually is a short (open air) walk away and is rather pricey. But the hotel's wellness area is very nice too, so would probably have been enough.

Positive: Friendly, helpful staff, clean rooms, secluded valley location, excellent superB meals for every occasion, free access to the Demjen SPA, free parking, special Christmas food :)

Negative: The hotel and outside baths certainly need renovations and improvements, you can see amortization in the rooms and bathrooms, wifi is outdated 2.4 ghz with 1 bar signal (might matters to some) in the rooms, tv tons of channels not available why not just remove them instead of wasting the time of the guests skimming through black channels. Room cleaning is not every single day, it should be for a 4 star at least room refresh. Overall the money spent by guests (~100k huf/night) does not reflect the quality the place especially the adjacent thermal bath should provide. Same goes for most hungarian bath places tho, the years go by but the facilities hardly improve (if not the opposite), still enjoyable to visit once a year.

Positive: Breakfast and dinner were ok, not premium though.

Negative: Just wondering if the staff like their work. They don’t look like they would. If I walk to the bar desk and order a glass of wine and bartender pours it to a glass, they will charge 17 % fee for the service. What service one might ask.

Positive: All of the staff were friendly and helpful, and most spoke English very well. The sauna and pool were great, and the Demjen (sp?) thermal bath was only a few minutes' walk away. The buffet dinner and breakfast were very good! I loved the decor of the dining room for dinner.

Negative: The carpet in our room had some stains. Otherwise the rooms were very nice.

Summary: Great location and beautiful decor.

Positive: Nice location, great spacious rooms. The dinner and breakfast was excellent. Staff was very nice and friendly. The cocktails were delicious.

Negative: The prices for drinks were a bit pricey. The towel ticket system for the spa is a bit awkward. When the spa opened at 8.00 am the yakuzzi wasn't on not even for the duration of 1.5 hrs while we there. The quality of dressing gowns were poor.
