Positive: The breakfast was great, good selection of cereal, fruit, pastry, offered cooked eggs every morning, fruit juice, fresh coffee. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. We had dinner on our first night there, excellent fresh tuna enjoyed by all. (We didn’t have dinner other nights but this was only because we met up with family that live on Ischia) The room was always spotless, cleaned every day. Extra touches, we were given extra pillows when we requested, given a lead to charge our phones etc without requesting just a thoughtful touch. We felt nothing was too much trouble and we could ask for anything we might need. We loved the pool, little gardens that lead to it. The whirlpool was lovely to relax in as was the sauna. We enjoyed spotting lizards and geckos in the evening. The hotel is right by a good restaurant, snack bar, mini market and bus stops so all amenities covered. The fridge in the room meant we could keep drinks and fruit/treats etc cool which we find really useful. We would definitely stay again when wanting to be near Sant’Angelo, it’s an easy walk in and short bus ride back up. All in all excellent trip.

Positive: it's a nice place, hosts very nice, breakfast excellent. Location in my opinion not so good, as it is very far from the city and the beach (too exhausting to walk in the summer). everything is ok, but just note that is more like a hostle style.

Negative: The location, as it is far from everything and placement in between other houses. No view :(

Positive: Staff were amazing - so friendly. Offer a cheap and delicious home-made dinner every night. Would recommend to anyone! ABout a 20 minute walk into Sant Angelo. Bus stop right outside the accommodation.

Positive: We actually loved everything about this hotel. It is our first time on Ischia so we did not know much about the island and its neighborhoods. But now we know a bit more, and realize how lucky we were choosing Casa Guiseppina. 1. Ischia is a wonderful island. 2. The Sant Angelo area is really beautiful and cars are banned in the centre of the village. 3. The village of Succhivo, 1 km away is the perfect hub in the area. You have a bus stop, a snack bar and a nice restaurant "Osteria della Mamma". 4. Casa Guiseppina is the obvious place to choose for a stay. There are three sections of the hotel: the main building with the restaurant, the nearby annex with the pool, and a bit away they have some larger apartments. 5. The pool. We stayed in the pool section of the hotel. The building is affluently embedded in flowers, trees, pergolas and the vulcano-heated pool is pleasantly 35 degrees warm. 6. Rooms are rustic, cleaning is flawless. 7. The hosts are great and have an informal friendliness making you feel very welcome. 8. Breakfast is fresh with fruits, eggs by choise, and good coffee served at the table. 9. You can on a daily whim choose if you want dinner or not. Just tell before noon. 10. Dinner is a well tasting four course meal with a great mix of dishes focusing on vegetables, pasta, meat/fish + dessert. Of the + 50 hotels I reviewed in Booking, this is the kind of 3 star hotels you never would trade even if you are offered a 5 star alternative.

Negative: Going home.

Summary: One of my best vacation hotels. Ever.

Positive: The hosts are amazing - a stunning location - very clean and comfortable and excellent value for money- we had only booked bed and breakfast but for 20 euros each we had the most amazing 4 course dinner - truly fabulous and the spa pool is fabulous
