Summary: Our second stay at this location. The front desk stored our bags as we were early. The bed was comfy. Lots of hot water. We just needed to leave it run for a few minutes. We shall return.

Summary: There was no running water all morning long. The staff did nothing to assist and we waited hours for the water to start running. At night there is no hot water at all. Staff just told us to keep the water running to see if it would heat up, but that did not work.

Summary: We loved the central location, the courtyard, the pool on the roof was definitely another highlight. Staff was friendly, room was neat and clean, windows facing the atrium made for quiet sleep. We didn't use the restaurant on site as we loved exploring different restaurants and markets. I would suggest adding a mini fridge to the room to keep some perishable snacks or cold drinks. Gaps in the windows made the AC slightly less efficient, but I don't pay the energy bills in this place. I was sceptical of Merida at first, but I definitely fell in love with the city and Hotel Caribe contributed to this a lot. I'm already thinking when can I come again!

Summary: Best location! Lots of restaurants, shops and bars are all walkable. My only complaint would be better ventilation in the room and the rooms need to be updated!
