Negative: The room becomes extremely warm & takes a long time to cool down even when we went out for a quick meal. There were no blankets provided.

Positive: It was a decent location and close to bus stops/ trains to marina bay sands etc

Negative: We booked a queen room but unfortunately they said there were no rooms available with windows. The members of staff were fine but living in the hotel (likely using the window rooms). Walls are thin and loud with people making noise until the early hours of the morning.

Positive: The lady in reception ( who I think is the new owner) was fantastic. Very accommodating with luggage storage, and also very helpful getting them to room and back to taxi, as I was injured. Room size was ok for Singapore (for 1), and shower was surprisingly large. And bonus points for good toilet paper. I didn't have time to explore area, but found plenty of restaurants within metres of hotel, serving all day.

Negative: I had booked a balcony room (photos show table & chairs), but it didn't have any outdoor furniture.So it was kind of like pointless having balcony. I unknowingly was there on the F1 weekend, so I guess that accounted for the high price. Room cleanliness left a fair bit of room for improvement. Lovely lady informed me that they had only taken over the week before, and I think with her attitude, they will do well once settled in. I wish them all the best. Give them a go.
